It's the New Year and the Charlie Summers for Congress campaign is fired up! Because of you, we are ready to face the challenge that lies ahead and with your continued help and support Charlie will be sworn-in next January as the new Congressman from Maine's First Congressional District!

Now is the time to get involved in the campaign by hosting a "meet and greet" or becoming a town chair or simply asking your family and friends to check out the new video on this site. Let everyone know about Charlie and his record of service to Maine and America. Whether as a former small businessman, the first Republican ever elected to represent Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Dayton and Scarborough in the Maine State Senate, Senator Olympia Snowe's State Director, the New England Regional Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy currently serving in Baghdad, Iraq, or as a husband and a father, Charlie Summers has the kind of experience that is necessary in order to effectively represent Maine in the U.S. Congress.

When Charlie gets to Washington he will go "full speed ahead" into the critical issues facing our State and Nation. Be it fighting to make certain that our men and women in uniform receive the benefits which they have earned, getting Small Business Health Plan legislation passed so that small businesses throughout Maine and the United States can provide health insurance for their employees, making permanent the tax cuts that have spurred on the expansion of our economy, working for energy independence, or to rein in pork barrel spending, Charlie Summers knows first-hand how to provide solutions to the problems and concerns facing Mainers - because he's lived them.
